At MindTrick, we believe your habits and routines are deeply personal matters. Our philosophy is simple: what happens on your device stays on your device. We have designed MindTrick to be the most private, transparent, and distraction-free habit tracker you have ever used. We do not track, we do not log, and we do not profile your behavior.

1. Absolute Data Privacy & Zero Collection

MindTrick does not collect, store, share, or transmit any personally identifiable information (PII) or usage telemetry. We operate without a remote user account database, ensuring you are never profiled or monitored.

When you use MindTrick, we never ask for or ingest:

• Your name, email address, phone number, or physical address.
• Your IP address or unique hardware identifiers (UUID / IMEI).
• Detailed clickstream logs or feature usage analytics.

2. Secure Local Storage

All of your habit titles, progress history, completion streaks, custom categories, and stats are saved exclusively on your device's internal storage. We do not maintain any cloud databases or synchronization endpoints, meaning we cannot access, view, or recover any of this data.

This localized architecture guarantees your safety. However, please note that if you delete or uninstall MindTrick, or perform a factory reset on your device, all your habit data will be permanently deleted as the host operating system clears the app's sandboxed storage. We recommend utilizing standard OS device-level backups to secure your local files.

3. Device Permissions & UX Integration

MindTrick is built to operate under a zero-permission posture. We do not request access to sensitive hardware sensors or modules such as your camera, contacts, microphone, photo gallery, or real-time location.

Any basic permissions used (e.g., triggering haptic/vibrational feedback or issuing habit reminders) are processed entirely inside the local device sandbox under your operating system's standard user-interface rules.

4. App Stores and Third-Party Frameworks

We do not integrate any third-party marketing, analytics, or advertising SDKs. The app is completely standalone. However, depending on whether you download MindTrick from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, the operating system owner may collect diagnostic reports, payment data for app acquisition, and crash logs under their separate privacy frameworks.

5. Children's Privacy Compliance

In accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), MindTrick is fully compliant and safe for all demographics. Since the application maintains no server databases and collects no data from any user, it does not acquire or process personal information from children under 13 or individuals of any age.

6. Global Privacy Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Whether you reside in the European Economic Area (EEA) under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or in California under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), your legal rights to information ownership, access, rectification, portability, and deletion are structurally protected. Because all habit data remains entirely under your custody on your local device, you hold absolute, physical control over your digital footprint.

We may refine this Privacy Policy occasionally to align with updates to the application or local laws. The latest version will always be published on this page, indicated by the "Last Updated" timestamp. We recommend checking back periodically to review our stance.
